Mitwa TV Network creates history with the launch of India’s 1st Subscription Free OTT News Channel!

May 10: Mitwa, an OTT platform based out in India, already in news for redefining the entertainment industry with its unique offerings, has now added another feather to its cap, with the launch of India’s 1st subscription free OTT News Network.
The launch of India’s first OTT based news channel concedes with the Mitwa TV’s promoters’ vision of providing Indian with the highest quality entertainment and at the same time enrich them with the right news & views.

The launch which happened on Saturday at Flora Farms in Noida was attended by the knows names from the entertainment world, news fraternity, ex-bureaucrats, and other eminent personalities from the world of judiciary and politics.
Speaking to the press Avinash Raj, CEO Mitwa TV, talked about the vision behind the launch of the Mitwa news on digital platform rather than on the mainline.

“The choice of an OTT as a platform for News is a strategic decision. There has been a gradual shift, the way content, be it entertainment or news, is being consumed in India. The OTT is slowly replacing the television just as mobile/tabs have replaced bulky computers for business needs. The adoption of OTT as a platform of choice is further fuelled with the availability of fast affordable internet.” 

“These factors along with the fact that, OTT offers a convenience of consuming content from anywhere and at any time, is what makes it so popular among people of all age groups. Understanding the needs of the audience, we decided to launch on OTT rather than on mainline platform” he further added.

The launch event saw launch of Mitwa News ID and live airing of a News bulletin to the captive audience.

As of today, Mitwa, offers unique content along with 200+ channels at no cost to millions of viewers in India & abroad and the number are growing on daily basis. Mitwa TV is available on all play store, app store, android TV, Mi & Amazon firestick, and TataSky Binge.

Mitwa would soon be streaming classic Hollywood movies dubbed in Bhojpuri & Hindi. Other than foreign content Mitwa would also be streaming web-series with story based out of the Hindi heartland, realty shows & movies.
