Distribution of stands by Rotary Club of Udhna at the Shahid Smriti Van

Surat, Gujarat : The Rotary Club of Udhna distributed Drying Stands for clothes to the RPF Battalion personnel at RPF Colony, Udhna. The event was attended by Rotary Club of Udhna  President Vishal Merchant, Secretary Chetan Jariwala, Prakash Patel, Former President Manish Nayak, Nirali Choksi, Social Worker Nirali Nayak and Ami Merchant.

It is worth mentioning that the first urban forest of Indian Railways is located near Udhna RPF Colony. Using the Miyawaki method, this urban forest was created by the Hearts at Work Foundation of Surat under the able leadership of Greenman Viral Desai. Says Greenman Viral Desai, “The Udhna RPF platoon comes from different parts of the country, spending more than twelve hours a day in the service of the country. We are working hard to alleviate the day-to-day problems of these troopers and we are grateful for the support of the Rotary Club of Udhna in this endeavor. ”

Arjun Ram Bidasar, Head, Udhna RPF Battalion, expressed his gratitude and thanked the Rotary Club of Udhna on behalf of his entire team. In the near future, ten more stands will also be awarded to these soldiers by the Rotary Club of Udhna.
